Please read before submitting your build request

Before submitting your build request, please provide as much detail as possible about your vehicle and the work you’d like completed. Every request is reviewed carefully, but because our shop typically has a waiting list, we may not be able to accept every project or meet every requested deadline.

Budget and timeline information are important because they help us determine whether your project is a good fit for our current schedule and capabilities. Please note that we cannot provide an exact final estimate before evaluating the full scope of the build, and additional budget will not move a project ahead of others on the waiting list.

Please include the following information in your request

The more specific you are, the easier it is for us to understand the scope of your project and determine next steps.

  1. Is this a new (no work has been done to the build) or existing (work has been started by either yourself or another shop) build? If new, do you already have the vehicle?

  2. What engine? If you can, please list the displacement and any modifications.

  3. Current transmission? Is it automatic or manual?

  4. What is the differential gear ratio and model? (ex. 12 bolt, 10 bolt, 9 in, 8.8, etc)

  5. If this is an existing project, please include a list of parts that are already available.

  6. What is the budget you have set for the build (your final cost)?

  7. Is there a needed timeline for this project or are you able to go on a waiting list?

Nichols Paint & Fab accepts select custom vehicle projects including hot rods, resto mods, custom fabrication, performance builds, off-road vehicles, custom paint and complete automotive builds.
